CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Friday through Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM EST
• 2-3 on-call shifts per month required
• Holiday coverage per unit needs
• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing
• Position patients accordingly, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility using safe patient handling techniques
• Maintain accurate patient record keeping by documenting all necessary components within EPIC
• Identify images and ensure proper transmission to PACS system upon exam completion
• Maintain clean and safe scanning facility environment
• NYS licensure required with injection therapy certification on license at time of submission
• Completion of formal training in approved School of Radiologic Technology required
• ARRT certification through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
• Two years of experience required with Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• BLS certification from American Heart Association only
• Telemetry certification required
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
• Epic experience highly desired (1 year)
• Siemens scanner experience required (6 months minimum)
