Telemetry RN Job in San Francisco, CA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit at Sutter Health CPMC Van Ness Campus, caring for adult patients with complex medical needs. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting May 18, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend schedule required
• $2,531.09 weekly pay

Your Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a med-surg/tele overflow unit with 32 beds and an average daily census of 32 patients. Your responsibilities include managing dysrhythmias, administering oxygen, caring for peripheral lines and feeding tubes, and responding to rapid response and code team activations. You'll care for patients with liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases, as well as transplant recipients. You may float to other units based on census needs. An interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams supports your work.

Requirements

• Current California nursing license
• BLS certification (AHA certified)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Transplant experience with liver, kidney, and pancreas
• Epic experience preferred
• 7-year work history verification required

Onboarding

You'll receive 36 hours of orientation and must complete non-billable modules averaging 1–5 hours. Lab work must be completed within 3–5 days of signing.
