Job Details:

• Night shift position working 3x12 or 4x12 schedule
• 4 openings available
• Behavioral/psychiatric and med-surg experience required; pediatrics experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience required
• Required certifications: PALS and BLS (AHA only - RQI certifications not accepted)
• Must hold both a Missouri or compact license and a Kansas license (those contracted for main campus may start with Kansas license pending but must have documentation that it has been applied for)
• Care for patients with conditions including appendectomies, tonsillectomies and adenoidectomies, viral illnesses, ingestions requiring medical clearance, and behavioral health concerns with underlying medical needs
• Work in an 18-bed unit supporting a diverse pediatric population with two distinct sides designed for efficient patient flow and team collaboration
• Floating between the main campus and sister hospital located in Overland Park, KS approximately 12 miles southwest of the main Kansas City campus
• Medication/dosage test administered during first week requiring 100% pass score with up to 3 attempts
• Smoke-free facility
