Registered Nurse - Operating Room @ IU Health Methodist Hospital

Job Details:

• 3 years of operating room nursing experience required
• Level I trauma experience required (minimum 2 years preferred, will consider 1 year minimum)
• Circulating required, scrubbing preferred
• Must work in Core 6 areas including general surgery, plastic surgery, gynecology, ENT, trauma, neurology, orthopedics, genitourinary, and colorectal robotics
• 6 call shifts required in a 6-week period (variable)
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Weekend shifts only when on call
• Float within scope to meet facility needs (100% required)
• Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS and PALS preferred
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred
• Must be well-rounded in most OR areas except cardiovascular and transplant
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking available
• Indiana state license required (must be in hand prior to start date)
• 2 supervisor references required
