PT - Physical Therapist Inpatient Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week with schedule to be discussed during interview
• Minimum 2 years acute care experience preferred, will consider candidates with rehab or SNF experience
• Total joint experience and Epic experience preferred
• Nevada PT license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• May be required to float to other departments based on organizational needs and competency level
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Required to work at least 1 major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day) and 1 minor holiday (New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) each year
• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide rehabilitation services through discharge
• Responsible for direct clinical supervision of physical therapy assistants and rehab technicians
• Services include evaluation and treatment of gait and transfer limitations, orthotic/prosthetic training, and comprehensive wound care
• May participate in program development and outcome measurements in clinical setting
