PCU RN Job in Decatur, TX

Medical City Decatur is seeking a registered nurse for a Progressive Care Unit position. You will work three 12-hour shifts per week on the night schedule, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., starting April 8, 2026. This is a 91-day travel assignment.

In the PCU, you will provide intermediate-level nursing care for patients who require more monitoring than general medical-surgical units but less intensive care than ICU. Your responsibilities include:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions continuously
• Administer medications and manage treatment plans
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team across shifts and departments
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
• Respond to patient needs and provide direct care support

You must maintain current RN licensure and hold all relevant certifications required by the facility and the state of Texas. Experience in progressive care or step-down units is preferred.

Compensation and Schedule
