Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work day or evening shifts, Monday through Wednesday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend requirement on an occasional basis
• Holiday rotation required
• On-call or standby requirement included
• Perform all general ultrasound exams including Paracentesis/Thoracentesis biopsies and vascular exams
• Average 8 to 16 scans or studies per day
• Work within a department that has 3 scanners/rooms
• May be required to float or cover other areas on a non-standard basis
• Use Philips EPIQ department-specific equipment
• Chart using Cerner EMR and PACS system
• IV starts are not required
• Vascular experience is required
• RDMS Medical Sonography certification is required
• RVT Vascular Technology certification is preferred
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS
• Scrubs are not yet provided by the facility
• Radiation badge will be provided by the employer
