CVOR Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. This is a 98-day travel assignment on a 3x12 day shift schedule, starting June 29, 2026, with weekly compensation of $2,540.16.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiovascular surgical environment, managing a 1:1 patient ratio during day shifts. Your responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating for CABG, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, IABP management, and other cardiac and vascular procedures. You will care for adult and geriatric patient populations and float within facility scope of practice to the main OR as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, and vascular surgery procedures
• Community hospital and trauma level experience preferred

Assignment Details

• Call schedule includes typically one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5–6 weeks; weekend rotation discussed at interview
• Required to work holidays that fall during your assignment period
• Maximum 7 days RTO (ready time off) per contract with specific holiday restrictions
• No self-scheduling allowed
• Orientation hours vary by contract length and are non-billable
