ICU RN Job in Sun City, AZ

You will provide direct nursing care to intensive care patients at Banner Boswell Medical Center, located at 10401 W Thunderbird Blvd in Sun City, Arizona. This is a 3x12 night shift role with an 89-week contract starting July 20, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,446.20.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for ICU patients
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs and discharge planning
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and timely
• Participate in unit shared leadership and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in patient care activities

Requirements:

• Current valid RN license in the state of practice
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience with specialty area experience within the past 12 months
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the ICU setting
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids

You will have flexibility to float between Boswell and Del Webb campuses as needed, with Boswell as your primary campus. A bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred.
