NICU Transport RN Job in Tampa, FL

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• NICU/PEDS Transport RN position requiring helicopter and ambulance transport experience
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios for all shifts
• 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Weekend requirement: 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS
• Florida license or compact license required at time of submittal
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility (100-mile radius rule applies)
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Handle 4-8 transports per day serving neonates and pediatric patients
• Care for patients with diagnoses including prematurity, HIE, RDS, hyperbilirubinemia, asthma, appendicitis, and respiratory distress
• Skills include anti-seizure medications, intubation assistance, central line blood draws, high flow nasal cannula, insulin administration, chest tube management, and pediatric dosage calculations
• Self-scheduling system
• May float within hospital
• No RTO allowed in contracts
• Smoke-free facility
• Pass/fail EKG exam required (3 attempts allowed)
• Up to 8 hours of billable modules for orientation
