Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• 4x10 day shifts, Monday through Friday, typically 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• On-call rotation required on weekdays and weekends, approximately 8 days per month including 1 weekend per month with a 30-minute response time
• Every third weekend required (5-6 total per contract)
• Average daily census of 7-10 patients
• Floating required to sister facility approximately 2 miles away for 1 week
• Block scheduling available with open accommodation for schedule requests within reason, to be discussed at interview
• Work setting: Interventional Radiology suite performing peripheral angiography/venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, neuro-intervention including acute stroke, and embolization
• Equipment: PACS, Fluoroscopy (Siemens and Ultrasound preferred)
• Responsibilities include accurate monitoring, equipment set up and maintenance, inventory maintenance, supply stocking, EKG lead placement, access site prep, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulation, scrubbing and maintaining sterile field, and vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
• Sterile technique and infection control required
• Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Blue surgical scrubs issued by the facility
• Parking is free for travelers
• 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS; Vascular Intervention Certification (preferred)
• ARRT only - RCIS not accepted
• WV State License required; may submit with pending license but must be active prior to start
