X-Ray Technician

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Friday through Sunday
• On-call rotation required with staff
• Must have experience in OR and Fluoroscopy
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT(R) and BLS
• Virginia state license required; any active state license in hand is accepted
• Must be proficient in fluoroscopy procedures
• Must be proficient in abdominal imaging: abdomen decubitus, abdomen supine (KUB), abdomen upright
• Must be proficient in upper extremity imaging: AC joints, clavicle, elbow, forearm, hand, humerus, scapula, shoulder, thumb/finger, trauma shoulder or humerus, trauma upper extremity, wrist
• Must be proficient in lower extremity imaging: ankle, calcaneus, femur, foot, knee, patella, tibia-fibula, toes, trauma lower extremity
• Must be proficient in head/chest imaging: chest AP, upper airway, facial bones, paranasal sinuses, skull
• Must be proficient in spine/pelvis imaging: cervical, lumbar, and thoracic spine, hip, pelvis, sacrum/coccyx
• Work settings include adult acute care and outpatient, bedside/portable, ER, ICU, pediatrics, PICU, and OR
• Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Portable equipment is wireless; all OR equipment utilized
