OR Circulator RN Job in Ithaca, NY

Cayuga Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse Circulator for the Operating Room in Ithaca, NY. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning August 30, 2026.

Role Overview

You will function as the circulating nurse in a fast-paced surgical environment, managing the operating room flow, coordinating between surgical teams and support staff, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures. Your responsibilities include preparing the OR, managing supplies and equipment, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting both the surgical team and anesthesia personnel.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4x10 day shifts (10-hour shifts)
• Shifts will be scheduled in blocks when possible, though consecutive days are not guaranteed
• Both weekday and weekend on-call responsibilities required

Requirements

You must hold an active RN license in the state of New York and have experience as an OR circulator. Familiarity with surgical procedures, instrumentation, and perioperative nursing standards is expected.
