Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Lexington, VA

Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient rehabilitation services in Lexington, VA. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (5x8 hour shifts)
• Weekend coverage required once per month in acute care setting
• One holiday per 13-week contract may be required
• Weekly pay: $2,520

Role Responsibilities

• Treat 9–10 patients daily with 4–5 evaluations and treatments
• Work primarily in outpatient clinic with some acute care responsibilities
• Treat patients of all ages: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Provide care in orthopedics, neurology, post-operative care, gait training, and therapeutic modalities

Required Qualifications

• DPT or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
• Virginia Physical Therapy license (can apply upon offer)
• BLS/ARRT(R) certification
• Outpatient clinic and acute care experience
• Travel healthcare experience required—first-time travelers not accepted
• Local candidates within 100 miles not accepted

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic charting experience
