Endoscopy RN Job in Austin, TX

St. David's Medical Center in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced RN for its Endoscopy department. This is a 13-week contract assignment offering day shift hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Shift and Schedule

• 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
• On-call required 1–2 days per week
• No weekend work or weekend call obligations

Role Responsibilities

You will work in a 2-procedure room Endoscopy unit alongside 2 RNs and 3 Techs, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio. Your responsibilities include:

• Performing and assisting with procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, GI bleeds, and ERCP
• Operating and maintaining GI equipment and scopes
• Documenting patient care using the Meditech EMR system
• Supporting patients throughout their endoscopic procedures

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Endoscopy experience required
