X-Ray Technician Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center seeks an X-Ray Technician for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 5x8 evening shifts at $2,592 per week, beginning November 2, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of radiologic procedures using independent judgment
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS applications
• Demonstrate proficiency with PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems
• Apply appropriate technical skills to facilitate accurate patient diagnoses
• May supervise or instruct department personnel as assigned
• Maintain infection control and body substance isolation per departmental and OSHA standards
• Uphold patient confidentiality at all times
• Deliver excellent patient care in all interactions

Schedule and Commitments

• Every other weekend required with holiday coverage as needed
• On-call requirement of three shifts per month—applicants unable to commit to call will not be considered
• Willing to work a minimum of two holiday blocks if scheduled
• Own vehicle required for this assignment
• Permanent address must be on file; you must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements

• 2 years radiologic technologist experience with at least 1 year current experience
• Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License (in hand or proof of application)
• ARRT (R) and BLS (AHA or ARC) certifications required
• Current X-Ray Technologist Skills Checklist (within one year)
• One supervisory signed reference from employment within the past two years
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred

Time Off Policy

• All requested time off must be noted at time of submission
• RTO requests after upload or during interview will not be approved
• Maximum 5 days of RTO accepted for this assignment
