Med Surg RN Job in Cleveland, OH

You will work as an RN on a 45-bed medical-surgical unit at Lake West Medical Center in Cleveland. This is a night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week, offering you flexibility and extended weekends.

• Unit composition: 28 telemetry beds with 17 traditional med-surg beds
• Patient ratios: 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit census and acuity
• Schedule: Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) rotation
• Shift times: Three nights per week, 12 hours each
• Duration: 90-day travel assignment
• Start date: July 13, 2026

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond to cardiac rhythm changes
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital standards
• Utilize virtual nurse assistance available hospital-wide for clinical support

You bring an active RN license and experience in medical-surgical nursing. Night shift experience and telemetry monitoring skills are valued. You are comfortable working with diverse patient populations and collaborating across interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and logistics: Weekly pay is $2,059.20. ADEX Healthcare Staffing manages housing, travel, and licensure. You will receive detailed onboarding materials prior to your arrival.
