Occupational Therapist

Opportunity:

OT - Therapy Rehab Inpatient

Job Details:

• Sunday-Thursday position working in ARU (Acute Rehabilitation Unit) and inpatient acute care
• Ability to float between inpatient care and occasional acute rehab required
• 2 years of experience required for submission
• Must have valid California Occupational Therapist license at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider), must be AHA certified
• Epic experience preferred for charting
• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills
• Complete patient evaluations and develop/update Plans of Care based on assessment data
• Provide clinical supervision to assistants and aides
• Serve as clinical instructor for assigned students
• Complete accurate documentation in medical and departmental records
• Maintain clean, safe working environment and inspect equipment per manufacturer guidelines
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Complete orientation modules through e-learning (average 1-5 hours, completed during orientation)
