Registered Nurse (RN) - 200119 Tele T8 - Nights

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours
• No call requirements
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX)
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring rhythm strips
• Work on 38-bed unit with patient ratios typically 1:4 up to 1:6 based on patient acuity
• Care for patients with CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI's, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, and post-procedure patients including pacemakers, ablations, and cath lab procedures
• Administer non-titratable cardiac medication drips (Cardizem, Lasix, Nitro, etc.)
• May float to intensive care units, medical-surgical units, and other locations based on organizational needs
• Required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families
