Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36/36 schedule with every other weekend required
• 1:7 patient ratios maintained
• No call responsibilities
• Required to float to other units as needed
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Med/Surg and MS/Tele experience required
• Must live 100+ miles from facility
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 24 hours of orientation (16 hours non-billable)
• Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Skills include: accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draws, colostomy/ileostomy care, telemetry monitoring, IV management, and more
• Hospital may cancel one shift biweekly without penalty if census decreases
• Drug test must be completed 12-14 calendar days prior to start date
• Facial hair must be trimmed for fit testing per CDC guidelines
