Cath Lab Technologist Job in Derry, NH

Join Parkland Medical Center NH as a Cath Lab Technologist on a 13-week travel assignment. You will work 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) in a cardiac catheterization lab, earning $2,816 weekly.

Your Role

You will perform and assist with a range of cardiac procedures in a busy lab setting. Your responsibilities include:

• Cardiac catheterization and coronary interventions
• Electrophysiology (EP) pacemaker implants and related procedures
• Interventional radiology (IR) support as needed
• STEMI PCI procedures
• Specialized techniques including IVUS, balloon pump management, and Penumbra

The lab primarily focuses on cardiac catheterization with low-level EP work. You may also provide floating support to the emergency room during patient surges.

Call Coverage

Plan for approximately 10–15 days of call per year, including 1–2 weekends, depending on staffing needs.

Requirements

You must hold a minimum of 3 years of catheterization lab experience, or 2 years in a high-volume lab. Current certifications required:

• RT (Radiologic Technologist)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NH State Imaging License (must be current at time of submission)

Advanced certifications and skills are strongly preferred:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• STEMI PCI experience
• IVUS and balloon pump experience
• Penumbra device proficiency

Work Environment

You will work with GE equipment and document procedures in the Expanse system. Hospital scrubs are required as part of the dress code.
