Job Details:

• Perform ultrasound procedures according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by a licensed physician or designated healthcare provider
• Provide information to patients about the purpose of ultrasound procedures and respond to patient questions and concerns
• Provide quality care in a non-judgmental and non-discriminatory manner using professional and ethical judgment
• Perform diverse imaging across the spectrum of sonography within the Radiology department
• Primary assignment at Outpatient Women's Center with potential float to other campuses based on volume and operational needs
• Experience in breast ultrasound and breast biopsy procedures required
• No call, weekend, or holiday requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of a 2-year AMA approved Ultrasound program required
• ARDMS registration required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
