Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Must be flexible and may be required to float to other campus locations
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 50-60 patients
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Call required for after hours and weekends rotation
• One pre-approved time off allowed
• Must have ARRT Registration in Radiation Therapy
• Texas Medical Board - MRT license required
• CPR - BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Altera charting experience preferred but not required
• Work with various patient diagnoses including brain, head and neck, breast, lung, esophageal, gynecological, prostate, bladder, rectum, anal canal, abdominal, bone mets, skin, liver, adrenal, and biliary cases
• Perform special procedures including SRS, SBRT, IMRT, 3D, 2D, HDR, and simulation
• Operate specialized equipment including Varian Edge, Varian Truebeam, Varian Gamma MedPlus iX, Varian Aria, Varian Eclipse, and GE CT 590 RT
• Complete 6-8 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
• Must complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Mandatory drug screen conducted by facility upon arrival
