<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 5x8 day shifts Monday through Friday with rotating shift times (7:00-15:30, 7:30-16:00, 8:00-16:30, 8:30-17:00)<br>• 40 hours guaranteed per week<br>• No on-call responsibilities required<br>• Handle up to 12 cases daily across three rooms total<br>• Must be a registered nuclear medicine technologist RT(N) or CNMT<br>• 2 years of experience required<br>• Must have ability to work independently and open/close department<br>• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, NMTCB<br>• Must have experience with stress tests/studies, hepatobiliary, VQ scans, thyroid, parathyroids, GI, bone scans, sentinel nodes, and I-131 therapies (non-therapeutic)<br>• Additional skills required: 3 Phase, Adenosine infusion, Bone, Brain, Cancer Survey, Captopril, Cerebral Blood Flow, DTPA Aerosol, Exercise/Rest procedures, Flow/Function, I-123 Uptake Scan, Liver procedures, Perfusion, Persantine Infusion, Pharmacological Stress, Renal procedures, Sestamibi parathyroid scan, starting and maintaining IVs, Ventilation/Perfusion, Whole Body scans<br>• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations<br>• Use EPIC charting system<br>• Wear pewter/gray scrubs<br>• Floating within scope may be required<br>• No floating to sister facilities required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This acute care hospital is a 233-bed facility that provides comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The facility features modern nuclear medicine technology and equipment, including three dedicated nuclear medicine rooms. The hospital utilizes EPIC electronic health records and offers free parking for staff. The nuclear medicine department handles a variety of procedures including bone scans, thyroid studies, cardiac imaging, stress testing, sentinel node procedures, VQ scans, pulmonary studies, liver and spleen imaging, hepatobiliary procedures, renal studies, and gastric emptying studies.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><p>Saint Louis, MO</p><p>Saint Louis offers a vibrant metropolitan experience with rich cultural attractions, professional sports teams, and diverse dining options.
