SLP Home Health Job in Sarasota, FL

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a home health position with BayCare HomeCare Inc. serving Sarasota and Charlotte County, Florida. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 18, 2026.

Position Overview

You will provide skilled home care visits to 6–8 patients per day across Manatee County and South Hillsborough territories. You'll work with acute and chronic patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric populations, delivering evidence-based speech therapy in patients' homes.

Schedule and Compensation

This role offers a 5×8 Days schedule at $2,352.96 per week. You will self-schedule visits and hours based on office needs using a block scheduling format, with 1–2 weekend days per contract. Fifty-six hours of orientation are required before you begin clinical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and provide treatment for dysphagia management, aural rehabilitation, and functional maintenance programs
• Deliver patient and family education
• Work with Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Commercial insurance patients
• Document using BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet systems
• Travel to multiple service areas within the assigned territories

Requirements

• Current Florida or compact state SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience with home health experience required
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for home visits
• Ability to live at least 100 miles from the facility
• OASIS training preferred

What Is Provided

BayCare HomeCare supplies a laptop, MiFi for internet access, and portable printers. You will wear solid color scrubs. Completion of required modules is expected pre-start and annually; up to 4 hours are billable for allied professionals.
