Description
<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>SLP - SLP</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Provide skilled home care visits with 6-8 visits per day (minimum of 6 points per day)<br>• Work with acute/chronic adolescent through geriatric patients<br>• Cover Manatee County and South Hillsborough territories with willingness to travel multiple areas<br>• Self-schedule visits and hours based on HomeCare office needs<br>• Work 1-2 weekends per contract<br>• Required skills include dysphasia management, patient safety, aural rehabilitation, functional maintenance programs, in-service training, and patient/family education<br>• Must be proficient with evaluation tools including BIMS, depression screening, and oral peripheral exam<br>• Handle billing and documentation responsibilities<br>• Home health experience required with OASIS training preferred<br>• Must have valid driver's license and personal vehicle for home visits<br>• Required certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP, and state license<br>• Dress code: Any solid color scrubs<br>• Equipment provided: Laptop, MiFi for internet access, portable printers<br>• Use BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet documentation system<br>• Minimum 1 year experience required<br>• 56 hours of orientation provided</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This home healthcare organization provides comprehensive skilled nursing services to patients in their homes, serving Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance patients.
