Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking an RN for a 91-day Telemetry assignment. You will work as part of a Med/Surg resource pool, providing direct patient care across multiple specialty floors.

Schedule & Location

• 12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 3 shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Primary location: MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center (downtown)
• Willingness to float to West Lakes Campus (9.5 miles from downtown)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and deliver telemetry-specific interventions as needed
• Float to assigned units based on daily staffing needs
• Support care delivery across Orthopedics, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele units

Compensation & Duration

• Weekly pay: $2,007.72
• Assignment length: 91 days
• Start date: June 28, 2026

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across multiple clinical environments in a resource pool setting. You will work alongside experienced nursing teams and adapt to the varying acuity and specialty needs of a busy medical center. Flexibility and strong assessment skills are essential in this role.
