ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a 91-day travel assignment at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport, Oregon. You will work days on a 5x8 schedule, earning $1,680 weekly, with a start date of October 21, 2026.

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care and technical support under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Your responsibilities include:

• Administer physical therapy services to patients with injuries or conditions affecting mobility and functional independence
• Deliver specialized rehabilitation services including orthopedic rehab, neurological and stroke rehab, balance and dizziness rehab, and chronic pain treatment
• Support patients in returning to functional independence and community activities
• Provide technical assistance to ensure effective and efficient delivery of therapy services

Requirements

You must hold a current, unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license and maintain Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification. Your clinical background in rehabilitation therapy and patient assessment will be essential to succeed in this position.

Assignment Details

This is a 91-day travel contract in Newport, a coastal community in Lincoln County. You will work a standard day shift schedule of 40 hours per week across five 8-hour days. The facility is a community hospital with established rehabilitation services.
