RN - Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 4x10-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours per week
• Day/Evening shift schedule with weekends, holidays, and on-call per unit need
• Provide specialized patient care to adult inpatient and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures and perform intra-procedure monitoring and post-procedure recovery including PACU and extended stay (23-hour)
• Serve as an essential part of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient-centered care
• Requires critical thinking, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Required to wear hospital-issued and laundered scrub pants and tops in addition to other infection prevention measures when needed in procedural areas
• Minimum 1 year of recent interventional radiology experience required
• 2 years of overall nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only)
• New York State RN license required
