MRI Technologist Job in Tulsa, OK

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an MRI Technologist for a travel assignment at Yale Campus - Hospital in Tulsa, OK. This is a full-time position running 5 days per week on evenings, with an assignment duration of 89 days starting May 31, 2026. You will earn $2,812 per week.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures of various body parts
• Set up equipment including coils and monitoring devices in relation to patient positioning
• Screen patients and personnel for metal objects or implants that could cause harm
• Perform MRI examinations according to department policy and protocols
• Evaluate scanning procedure results for quality and completeness
• Manipulate images using console keyboard and mouse for physician display
• Perform quality control tests on department equipment and report discrepancies
• Send images to PACS system and verify exams in timely manner
• Collect and evaluate examination information from scheduling, patients, and referring physicians
• Maintain departmental records and patient information according to policy
• Maintain accurate documentation on logbook worksheets

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology Program or MRI accredited program
• Registration from ARRT-R or ARMRIT
• BLS certification
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of MRI experience
• ARRT (MR) certification
• Cardiac MRI experience
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
