Diagnostic Mammographer

<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>CT Technologist - CT Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures<br>• Ensure proper positioning, image quality, and adherence to ALARA radiation safety principles<br>• Review physician orders and coordinate imaging exams with radiologists and other imaging modalities<br>• Track and retrieve prior mammography images for comparison and interpretation<br>• Provide patient education on breast health and self-examination<br>• Serve as a technical resource for breast imaging, quality control, and equipment operation<br>• Advocate for patients by coordinating care to minimize inconvenience and delays<br>• Participate in departmental committees and assist with outreach and mammography service promotion<br>• Take call as assigned and perform other duties as required<br>• Ability to stand and walk 4-6 hours per day<br>• Ability to bend, reach, crouch, balance, and push equipment as needed<br>• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds<br>• Provide care to patients across the lifespan<br>• Required certifications: ARRT registration in Radiography and Mammography, Active California Radiologic Technologist License, Active California Mammographic Technologist License, Active California Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist License, American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification<br>• California Venipuncture Certificate required within 3 months of hire<br>• Minimum of 5 years of mammography technologist experience required<br>• Full-time, non-exempt position</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare system provides comprehensive medical services with a focus on diagnostic imaging excellence.
