Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Cades, SC

MUSC Health Black River Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient therapy and rehabilitation services in Cades, South Carolina. This is a 91-day travel position beginning June 15, 2026.

Schedule and Hours

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• 5 days per week, 40 hours total
• No weekends, on-call, or holiday requirements
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks as guaranteed hours allowance

Clinical Responsibilities

• See an average of 10 patients Monday through Thursday and 5 patients on Friday
• Sessions scheduled every 45 minutes, including evaluations
• Minimal double booking (occasional 1–2 maximum per day)
• Medicare patients are never double booked
• Work with adult patient population as a generalist
• Use standard physical therapy equipment
• Chart using Epic system

Requirements

• Active South Carolina Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification required
• 1 or more years of experience
• First-time travelers accepted with outpatient setting experience
• Must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)

Additional Information

Dress code is charcoal gray scrubs. Weekly pay is $2,736. This role offers a straightforward outpatient environment with predictable patient flow and minimal administrative burden.
