Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Float pool position across general med surg, rehab, and behavioral health units
• 63-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless unit is closed
• 24 months of experience in Med Surg, Med Tele, or IMCU capacity required
• EPIC experience required
• Must have completed at least one travel contract in previous 12 months
• Experience administering Heparin and Insulin required
• Patient types include Med Surg, Rehab, and Behavioral Health
• Administer drips including Insulin and Heparin
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS highly preferred
• Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required
• Scrub colors: Pewter Grey
• No on-call responsibilities
