ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• 5 years of emergency room experience required
• Travel experience required
• Every other weekend schedule required
• 3 weekend shifts per week
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Self-scheduling type
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 12-bed emergency department with daily census of 50-70 patients
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (all must be AHA certified)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Must have skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line management, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, procedural sedation, and triage
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and unit secretary
• Valid California nursing license required at time of submission
• 7-year work history verification required
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Modules completed during orientation through e-learning system
