Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Full-time Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Occasional on-call responsibilities required
• Float to Geneva General Hospital as needed
• Minimum 3 years of varied ultrasound technology experience required with general, breast, and vascular experience
• Previous travel sonographer/ultrasound tech experience preferred
• Completion of training at an approved school in Ultrasound required
• Registered specialist with one year of additional training at AMA approved schools in ultrasound preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• ARDMS certification preferred
• Accurately convey patient and exam information to the Radiologist and ordering physician to provide efficient and quality care
• Maintain and update patient data in all forms in an organized, efficient, and confidential manner
• Accommodate scheduling demands of ordering physicians and patients in a timely manner
• Perform all technical elements of the position with minimal supervision after orientation
