Opportunity:

Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts in an operating room environment
• Assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
• Hand necessary instruments to the surgeon in anticipation of needs to ensure efficient surgical performance
• Monitor equipment related to vital signs observation as required
• Set up and maintain the surgical field, collaborating with nurses and doctors and assisting where needed
• Assemble, transport, and retrieve surgical equipment, ensuring all pieces are accounted for upon leaving the room
• Keep all needed surgical equipment at the ready, including sterile linens, saline, lights, suction machines, and related supplies
• Inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical equipment while keeping inventory records up to date
• Conduct pre- and post-surgery patient care, including shaving, transporting, and applying dressings
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Surgical Tech in a hospital setting required
• NBSTSA certification required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
