Opportunity:

RN - Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Position is part of float staff
• Associate's or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
• Direct patient care experience preferred
• Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), BLS (AHA, American Red Cross, or BLS Instructor)
• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics such as age, gender, and disease
• Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate methods including bedside shift reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient teaching
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care through interdisciplinary communication and timely documentation
• Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration while practicing in a fiscally responsible manner
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and required mandatory education
• Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff
• Support evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement initiatives
• Proactively plan for patient care across the care continuum
• Must possess strong critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in a decisive and composed manner
• Basic computer skills and ability to optimize use of technology to support clinical care required
