<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Cardiac Cath Lab</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Must have 2 years of Cath Lab experience required<br>• 3-5 years critical care experience preferred<br>• Current New Hampshire RN license or compact state license required<br>• ASN required, BSN preferred<br>• BLS required, ACLS and PALS preferred<br>• Basic Dysrhythmia certification preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation<br>• NIHSS certification preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation<br>• Certification in specialty preferred<br>• CPI training preferred or obtained within 6 months of hire<br>• Call shifts required for Cath Lab and Stress Lab<br>• Must be within 30-minute radius when on call<br>• Experience with complex/critical care medication infusions, including titration management<br>• Enhanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology, especially cardiac<br>• Experience with emergency cardiac interventions required<br>• Provide in-depth history and medication review for all patients scheduled for procedures<br>• Ability to safely administer procedural sedation and pass annual sedation examination<br>• Document sedation according to policies and procedures<br>• Demonstrate clinical expertise in creating and maintaining a sterile field<br>• Plan and provide equipment and supplies based on procedure and physician needs<br>• Maintain safe working environment including radiation safety and appropriate personal protection attire<br>• Demonstrate criteria for arterial and venous sheath removal<br>• Assist with insertion of Flow wire, Opsens and IVUS<br>• Working knowledge of hemodynamic waveforms and ability to monitor arterial waveform during left heart catheterization<br>• Ability to identify equipment criteria including Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and IMPELLA<br>• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing advanced cardiovascular interventional services.
