Endoscopy RN Job in Salem, VA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel position in Endoscopy at Lewisgale Medical Center in Salem, VA. This is a 91-day assignment beginning May 23, 2026, with a 4x10 day shift schedule running 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Role Overview

You will work in a 4-room endoscopy procedure department that processes approximately 20–30 patients per weekday. Your responsibilities include admitting patients, circulating and scrubbing in procedural cases, and recovering and discharging patients. You will perform and assist with EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy procedures. The department uses Olympus scopes and Provation procedural documentation, with Meditech as the EMR system.

Scheduling

This position operates on a day shift basis with weekday and weekend on-call requirements. Night shift coverage is on-call only. Floating to other areas is rare.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PACU or ICU experience preferred but not required
• Hospital-issued scrubs and surgical attire required; no visible piercings

Compensation & Details

Weekly pay is $2,131.60. You will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing situations. This role suits multi-taskers who are quick learners and team-oriented.
