<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work night shifts 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• 36 weekly guaranteed hours<br>• Weekend hours as needed with expectation of every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday)<br>• Float requirements as needed/customary upon request<br>• Patient ratios typically 4-6:1<br>• Care for 50% medical / 50% tele adult patients only<br>• 2+ years of telemetry experience required<br>• Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS<br>• Work with standard nursing equipment on telemetry unit<br>• EMR system: EPIC<br>• Dress code: Black scrubs<br>• Flu vaccination required November 1-April 1 (exemptions must be client approved)<br>• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year&#39;s Day)<br>• Up to 5 days requested time off can be automatically approved per 13-week period<br>• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation<br>• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments<br>• Must be a team player with superior communication skills focused on positive patient outcomes</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility has been a healing presence in the region for more than 150 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care on a centrally located campus.
