Opportunity:

RN - OR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with rotating days off
• Call required as part of schedule
• Must float between Boswell and Del Webb campuses as needed with Boswell as primary campus
• Current, valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement comprehensive plans of care utilizing assessment data and patient/family input
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Participate in education, role development, and orientation of facility personnel
• Interact with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, families and external healthcare contacts
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area through annual validations
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics for patient assistance
• Professional certification preferred
