Med Surg RN Job in Vicksburg, MS

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit at Merit Health River Region in Vicksburg, Mississippi. This is a 13-week travel nursing position beginning August 17, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Schedule: 3 days per week with rotating weekend requirements
• Duration: 91 days (13 weeks)
• Weekly pay: $1,971

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification required
• You must reside 50 or more miles from the facility

You will provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, assisting patients with acute care needs. Your responsibilities include medication administration, patient assessment, wound care, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary care team. You will work alongside experienced staff in a supportive environment.
