<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>PT - Physical Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care<br>• Develop appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards<br>• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions<br>• Administer various rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices<br>• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in clinical records per regulatory requirements<br>• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services based on patient evaluation<br>• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers<br>• Communicate effectively with supervisor and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans<br>• Document all regulatory and clinically required information in electronic documentation system<br>• Accurately record treatment minutes for services provided per regulatory requirements<br>• Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings<br>• Attend facility and company required trainings, in-services, and conferences<br>• Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students<br>• 1 year of PT experience required (new graduates acceptable with Level II experience)<br>• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required<br>• Missouri state license required<br>• No on-call or weekend requirements<br>• Adherence to APTA and state required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility specializes in providing comprehensive rehabilitation and long-term care services.
