Emergency Department RN Job in Lewiston, ME

Join St. Marys Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine as a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel position offering hands-on experience in a full-spectrum emergency care environment, including a dedicated Chest Pain Center.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 days per week
• Weekly pay: $2,417.76
• Start date: September 28, 2026
• Duration: 91 days

Your Responsibilities

• Assess patients upon admission and throughout their emergency department stay
• Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood products as needed
• Provide patient education to patients and their families
• Document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses
• Work willingly and ably in charge nurse and preceptor roles as needed

Qualifications Required

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the ED setting
• Minimum 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility
