Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Float to other campuses as needed
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS, RCES
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required experience: arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, left atrial appendage procedures, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies
• Preferred experience: cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies
• Assist with diagnostic, interventional, and acute procedures while maintaining strict asepsis and ensuring patient safety
• Prepare specialty EP equipment for accurate and reliable diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Complete control room duties utilizing physiologic monitoring, EP-specific monitoring and mapping systems, angiographic/fluoroscopic imaging, and digital analysis
• Support EP-specific functions including digital archiving of studies and supply distribution
• Provide effective and safe care in the circulating role during elective and emergency procedures
• Provide continuous care in the Catheterization Lab Holding area and assist in invasive lab functions
• Work within a 9-room lab including 2 highly active EP labs performing ablations, implants, and left atrial appendage procedures
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure inclusive and patient-centered care
• Patients served are adults
