Interventional Radiology RN Job in Wausau, WI

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Interventional Radiology. You will work in a fast-paced outpatient setting, supporting a team that performs 4–6 procedures daily.

Role Details

• Work 5x8 day shifts with start times as early as 6:30 AM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Primary team: 1 RN and 2 Rad Techs per procedure
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio throughout your shift
• Every 5–6th weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• 1–2 weeknight on-call shifts as needed with 30-minute response time and 2-hour minimum call-back
• May float to other Central Aspirus locations as needed

Requirements

• 4 years of nursing experience
• Associate degree or certificate in nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Active Wisconsin RN license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must reside outside the 50-mile radius of the facility

• Any color scrubs permitted
• Mask required during flu season if flu and COVID vaccination are declined
• Subject to low census unbillable hours with potential on-call status

Assignment runs 91 days, beginning June 29, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,982. This role offers you direct involvement in interventional procedures within a collaborative healthcare team environment.
