ICU RN Job in Espanola, NM

You will serve as an RN in our Intensive Care Unit at Presbyterian Health Services Inc in Espanola, NM. This is a 16-hour night shift position with an 89-day assignment starting July 6, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care to your assigned group of patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or standard protocols
• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Initiate, utilize, and document appropriate protocols and standards of care
• Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care
• Assume responsibility for clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete patient population-specific, age-specific, procedure, and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards

Requirements:

• You must successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test prior to starting your assignment. You will have one opportunity to re-test if your initial BCA test is failed; a second failure results in contract cancellation
• Willingness to float between departments and local locations within 20 miles as required
