Med Surg RN Job in Neenah, WI

ThedaCare - Neenah is seeking a registered nurse for an 8-week contract assignment in Medical-Surgical nursing. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours, starting at 5:30 AM. This role includes every other weekend and holiday rotation, with no on-call or callback requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to trauma surgical, neuro, and orthopedic patients with a patient ratio of 1:5–1:6 on nights
• Manage post-operative neuro trauma surgeries and orthopedic trauma surgeries, including fusions and spine procedures
• Demonstrate proficiency with chest tubes, PCA/epidural/Q-ball, and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) procedures
• Float throughout ThedaCare - Neenah and to all ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius as needed
• Complete an 8-hour unbillable orientation

Required Qualifications:

• Wisconsin RN license, AHA BLS, and NIHSS certification
• Minimum 3+ years RN experience with 2+ years in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Prior travel assignment experience required; new travelers are not considered
• EPIC charting experience within the last 2 years
• Neuro/orthopedic trauma experience
• Associate degree or certificate required
