Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday (days will vary depending on unit needs; block schedule not available)
• Assigned to the thoracic/vascular team in a 1,000+ bed hospital operating room
• Circulate vascular and endovascular cases, including late stays based on unit needs
• Travelers will take four late stays during a 13-week contract; late stays occur when additional rooms are still running at 5:00 PM or 7:00 PM and typically last no more than one hour past normal shift end time
• Float within the OR as needed, but not between locations
• No float to other departments required
• Treat adult patient population only; no pediatrics
• Provide care across a wide range of case types including neuro, trauma, general, orthopedic, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), robotic, hybrid rooms (cysto, bronch, and lead extraction), ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary
• Must have thoracic/vascular experience (required)
• Must be proficient in endovascular cases and able to circulate
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Must be proficient in circulating
• Required certification: BLS
