RN - Pediatrics CVICU

Job Details:

• Provide pediatric cardiac intensive care nursing with strong critical thinking skills and ICU skillset
• Care for immediate cardiac post-operative patients
• Administer inotropic medications and manage complex cardiac cases
• Manage mediastinal chest tubes, central lines, and arterial lines
• Provide neonatal care and advanced airway management
• Operate ventilators and provide family-centered care
• Deliver post-cardiac catheterization care
• Work with patient ratios typically 1:1 or 2:1 for ICU care and 3:1 for intermediate care
• Care for patients requiring both intensive and intermediate cardiac care
• Manage patients from admission through discharge in most cases
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
