<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>MRI Tech - MRI Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 8-hour shifts with start times available for first shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM), second shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM), or third shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)<br>• Weekend requirement of 1 weekend per month<br>• Holiday coverage may be required<br>• No call or standby requirements<br>• Serve outpatients, inpatients, and emergency department patients<br>• Operate GE MRI scanners including 1.5T (450W) and 3T (750W) equipment<br>• Must have knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and standard acquisition sequences<br>• Required to start IVs for patients<br>• Work with Epic EMR and PACS systems<br>• One week orientation period depending on familiarity with GE scanner type<br>• Work alongside MRI Tech assistant during 8-hour shifts<br>• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), RTR MR<br>• Must wear standard solid colored scrubs (not provided by facility)<br>• Tattoos must be covered per dress code policy<br>• 12 hours of non-billable orientation with guaranteed hours not applying during orientation period</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center providing comprehensive acute care services. The radiology department features advanced GE MRI technology and maintains a drug-free campus policy requiring negative drug screens for all panels. The facility utilizes Epic charting systems and provides structured orientation programs to ensure staff familiarity with equipment and protocols.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><p>Peoria, IL</p><p>Peoria offers a vibrant mid-sized city atmosphere along the Illinois River with a rich cultural scene, excellent healthcare opportunities, and affordable cost of living.
